Porn Behind the Scenes: The Making of Eggs 2

Lights. Camera. Lube.

Most of my videos are fairly simple to make. I do my makeup and hair, set up a camera and some lights, film for 1-2 hours, and then edit out the bloopers and correct the colors – done. But every once in a while, my fingers itch to create something special.

Early in 2024, I made a homage to the movie Alien (1979) called EGGS – alien inside. We made it on a tiny budget in my one-bedroom apartment, and I had some friends help with post-production.

I mostly filmed it because I loved the idea and thought it would be fun – and I was pleasantly surprised by the awesome feedback after its release. It even got screened at some porn film festivals!

That’s when I decided to make a sequel – and this time, I wanted to do everything right. But I totally underestimated how much work would go into this production!

All in all, this 18-minute scene took more than 100 hours to produce.

So now I want to show you where all that time went, and let you judge if it was worth it!

Pre-Production

Script Writing

In the beginning, there was the word. I had already taken some notes over the previous weeks about what I wanted the new movie to be like – heavily inspired by the hospital scene at the beginning of Aliens (1986).

So I worked on a draft, let it sit for a week, then reviewed and revised it. Later, once I knew who else would be involved, I sent it to them for feedback and adjusted it again accordingly.

Casting, Scheduling, Location

The next question was: Who do I shoot with, when do we shoot, and where?

The location was the easiest to figure out – I found a fetish apartment in Hamburg that had a hospital room and plenty of space to store our gear in the other rooms.

Casting was trickier. I needed to fill three roles: a camera person, a production assistant, and someone to play the doctor. Luckily, I got the same camera person who worked on the first movie, so he already knew the vibe I was going for.

A production assistant was something we missed sorely the first time around. Having an extra set of hands is invaluable – especially when those hands are maneuvering a slippery alien dildo filled with gelatin eggs.

I asked a friend, but he had to cancel at the last minute. Thankfully, another friend’s roommate stepped in. We had never met before, but he ended up doing an amazing job.

For the role of the doctor, I asked around, but none of the performers I knew were free to travel to Hamburg.

Thankfully, my friend Lady Mara Morrigan, a dominatrix, was up for the challenge – even though she’d never been on camera before. I’m forever grateful to her, because without her, this project wouldn’t have happened.

After some scheduling magic, we found a day in September 2024 when all of us – and the location – were available.

Getting the props

With the script and location confirmed, it was time to gather props to bring the scene to life.

First, I needed green screen fabric and tape for the space station window and ultrasound monitor. Then I got a washing machine tube and a CPR mask to build into a respirator.

Next came the star of the show: the alien and the eggs. The alien toy from the first part was made by Nothosaur, so I reached out to them. They sent me their new ovipositor toy, Kohana, in two sizes (small and large) plus silicone molds for the eggs.

To cast the eggs, I raided the supermarket for all the gelatin I could find – the cashier definitely thought I was making the world’s biggest jelly. It took a whole day and left my kitchen smelling awful, but I ended up with two dozen fine alien eggs in my fridge.

If you want to make your own gelatin eggs: The Primal Hardwere Recipe worked really well for me.

If you get air bubbles: I had the same issue. After the initial heating, I let the mix cool, cut off the foamy top layer, reheated the clear part, and then poured it into the molds.

Shooting Day

This was probably the longest working day of my porn career. From 8 a.m. until 4 a.m. the next day, I was non-stop busy!

Makeup & Hair (& Ass)

I started the day at my hairdresser, who knows about my job and opened early to help me get ready. After getting a fresh blow-dry, I headed home to do my makeup – and prep my ass for what was coming.

After that, I packed two suitcases full of gear, props, and outfits and called a cab to the location. By 3 p.m., I was setting everything up. The rest of the team arrived by 5 p.m., and we were almost ready to go

Shot List & Paperwork

Before filming, we tackled the boring but necessary stuff: signing model releases and reviewing the shot list. We planned the shot order to minimize lighting and costume changes.

Set Prep

While the production assistant taped up the green screens, I rigged the small alien toy with nylon string and coated the eggs in fake cum.

The camera guy set up the lighting. The hospital room was tight, so we used one big light with a parabolic softbox, plus some tube lights and LED panels.

One last camera check and – action!

Shooting

Cryo Chamber

We filmed this first, since I was still in the outfit from the first movie.

I lay on a hospital bed with colored tube lights around me, and the production assistant held a semi-transparent mirror above me. It took some clever angles to make it look like I was under glass without catching reflections of the crew.

Outro

After an outfit change, we filmed the outro while I still looked fresh. It began with a handheld shot to reveal the plot twist (no spoilers here!), then switched to a tripod setup for a dramatic zoom into the green-screened “window,” followed by the end credits.

Dialogue

This was the most time-consuming part.

Capturing three minutes of dialogue from three angles while adjusting lighting took three hours. Then we filmed the doctor’s monologue behind a one-way mirror, which required precise light and focus adjustments.

By 11 p.m., Lady Mara Morrigan wrapped up her role and headed home. The rest of us still had a long night ahead!

Penetration

I always wanted to recreate a “chestburster” scene – but from my butt instead of my chest. That’s why I had the small alien dildo.

After lubing it up, I carefully inserted it base-first. (Don’t try this at home, folks! Leave the stunts to the pros!) I was terrified the nylon string might snap and send me to the ER, but it held!

While I acted my heart out, the production assistant pulled the string, and voilà: alien butt-birth achieved.

The actual penetration with the larger toy was much easier, especially since my production assistant did an amazing job loading it with eggs and handling the insertion.

Egg-Laying

Getting the eggs back out wasn’t hard, but we kept laughing every time a gelatin egg hit the ground and bounced like a rubber ball.

Tidying Up

At 2:30 a.m., we finally finished shooting. It took another 90 minutes to clean up. Finding all those eggs, that rolled into every corner was a challenge in itself!

Post-production

Editing & Color Grading

This took forever. Well, not forever, but spending 40 hours editing an 18 minute scene sure feels like it. I spent countless hours sorting footage, choosing the best takes, switching between angles, and correcting colors.

Special Effects

After the rough cut was done, it was time for some movie magic. I handled small effects like the cryo chamber ice and ultrasound footage myself. For the rest, I called in the pros.

My friends at Approximate Productions still had the spaceship model from the first movie! They built a smaller escape pod, filmed an awesome intro, and inserted the green screen footage seamlessly.

Music Composing

Originally, I wasn’t planning to use much music – but the location had a lot of traffic noise.

I didn’t want to ruin the immersion with honks and train sounds, so my friend Jamie Kelly from Approximate Productions composed an eerie, original score: KY Cygni.

She also did the foley and audio editing, which I’ve never felt confident doing myself.

Photo Shoot

Normally, you’d shoot promo photos during filming, but we were too pressed for time.

So I rebooked the location later, hired an awesome photographer, got my hair done again, cast new eggs, and recreated the scenes – minus the dildo, since I didn’t have my dildo operator this time… ;)

Promo Material

And that brings us full circle!

I spent the last two weeks before the release editing trailers, designing thumbnails and posters, writing social media posts, press releases, and … this blog!

I’m beyond excited to finally show this movie after working on it on and off for half a year.

I hope this peek behind the curtain made you curious to watch EGGS 2 – It’s Not Over Yet! It’s available on ManyVids and Clips4Sale. If you’ve already seen it, I hope this blog helped you appreciate just how much slime, sweat, and love went into every frame.

And remember: In space, no one can hear you cum... ;)
